INSPECTION TRIP 

Landmark Estates would like to welcome you to North Cyprus by helping you with the costs of a short stay to see our beautiful island and view some properties. An inspection trip will be organised for 2 people and will normally consists of a 3 day stay, to allow you to see some of the island and make sure that Cyprus is for you.


Landmark Estates will pay for your airport transfers to and from *Ercan airport and a *3 nights stay in the lovely Bellaview Boutique hotel (inc. bed and breakfast).  The hotel is close to Kyrenia city centre, with its old fishing harbour, where you can sit and enjoy dinner or drinks amongst a fabulous bustling atmosphere.  Or you are just minutes away from the romantic village of Bellapais with its historic Monastery.


INSPECTION TRIP ITINERARY

Day 1:

 After your relaxing breakfast at the hotel one of our experienced property advisors will collect you around 10.00 am and bring you to our nearby office for an informal welcome meeting over coffee. You will be provided with general information on North Cyprus and property details to meet your specifications.  


We can discuss whether you would prefer a holiday home by the sea, a place in an elevated position with views for full time living, a place in the city or, if you have children, the choice of schools. We have a plenty of resale properties to show you, along with projects that can be built to your specifications or projects from developers that are under construction.  

We bring you peace of mind and independent advice. Landmark works with ALL the best construction companies in North Cyprus, not just one builder. Including resales, we can offer you an amazing range of more than 500 properties at any time.


Your property advisor will then take you to view the different areas and properties you have selected, with a nice break for lunch. When you have finished for the day you will be returned to your hotel, to enjoy the remainder of the evening.

Day 2:

 Again around 10am, we will collect you and continue the property search, in a different area, stopping for lunch in a different location.  At any time you find a suitable property or would like to stop the search, just inform your advisor.

Day 3:

 Will be a day of discussions or further viewings. If you would like second viewings on any properties shortlisted, we will revisit them or continue the search further through the afternoon.  If you have chosen a property already then we will continue to the next step.  Usually after the 3 day inspection customers have sufficient knowledge to decide whether North Cyprus is the place for them or not.


The next step would be for your advisor to take you to an independent solicitor to make a power of attorney (POA) (*no obligation to purchase at this stage) and discuss any questions you have about purchasing, taxes to be paid when purchasing properties and any other legal matters you may want to discuss.


If you have found a property you love, then we will start proceeding for a sale.  This will mean paying a deposit either by cash, debit/credit card, to take your chosen property from the market while the contract is being drawn up.   

 

  • * If you wish to fly to a southern Cyprus airport then there will be an extra fee of £50 one way from Larnaca airport or £100 one way from Paphos airport. 
  • *If you wish to stay any extra nights the cost would be payable by yourselves.  We can arrange this any time prior to your visit. 
  • * Making a power of attorney does not commit you to purchase.  A POA enables a solicitor to act on your behalf whether you are in Cyprus or not.    
  • Our Landmark inspection trip is intended to be relaxed and informative and you will feel under no pressure to buy 
  • Landmark Estates is happy to cover the cost of the inspection for you.    However, please note that you are obliged to view our agencies properties only.  
  • We always advise our clients to take their time as purchasing a property is a very important decision and should not be rushed.
